Our Mission

As the representative body of Israel’s inbound tour operators, our mission is to build better business relationships for our members and act as a bridge to government agencies on issues important to the inbound tourism industry.

Our Services

We aim to provide services that optimize our members’ business success and it is to that end that we represent our members’ interests to governments and the business community. Our services include business-to-business opportunities, lobbying and policy influence.

Our objectives

  • To protect the interests and roles of tour operators in Israel, the jobs in Israel’s tourism industry and to promote and develop all of these.
  • To serve as the voice for IIOTA in negotiations with government and public agencies and with other bodies dealing with aviation, hospitality, transportation and all other services to tourists.
  • To protect and promote the economic interests of IIOTA members.
  • To protect, promote and ensure a high level of professionalism both in the organization and in the services to tourists provided by its members.
  • To foster consultation among the association’s members so as to act from a common position on all matters involving the efficacious and dynamic encouragement of tourism.
  • To require our members to sign labor agreements with unions and to act as a union itself as the term is defined in Israel’s Collective Wage Agreement Law.
